Principal’s Message

Dr.Maheshwar Dutta, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, has assumed charge as the Principal of the college. He holds a B. Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering and M. Tech. in Thermal Power from Gulbarga University. He was awarded Ph.D in the area of IC Engines from JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad.He is an active member of MSAE, MCI and MISTE.

Dr.Maheshwar Dutta has been a ratified Principal and Professor, for the last 18 years served for various engineering colleges in Hyderabad.He has three decades of teaching and research experience in the field of mechanical engineering along with a rich administrative experience. He has implemented innovative curricula that emphasize hands-on learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Dr.Maheshwar Dutta expertise is evident in supervising eight successful Ph.D candidates, many of whom have secured academic positions and industry roles in leading organizations.His prolific contributions extended to academia and his research has resulted in numerous publications in top-tier national and international journalswith more than 80 publications. He has participated and contributed in organising voluminous international and national conferences, seminars, workshops and FDPs for the benefit of students as well as faculty fraternity.

Dr.Maheshwar Dutta is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment at the institute. He has launched outreach programs aimed at increasing diversity in engineering. To bridge the gap between academia and industry, he has initiated to equip the students with inbound and outbound training Programmes. He aims to further enhance the institute’s research capabilities while ensuring that students are equipped with the skills necessary for the evolving engineering landscape. His goal is to create partnerships with industry leaders to facilitate real-world learning experiences for students and to promote innovation in engineering practices.
