Head of Department

             Dr. Meerasharif Sheik is currently working as a Professor and HOD for Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology,  Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College ( AUTONOMOUS), Odalarevu, Amalapuram. He completed B.Tech (CS&IT) From Sri Vasavi Engineering College, M.Tech (CSE) from Acharya Nagarjuna University and Ph.D. (CSE) from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He has a total 19+ years of teaching experience and 7 years as Research Scholar.

         His research interest includes Computer Network, Mobile Adhoc Networks, Vehicular Adhoc Networks, Cryptography and Network Security, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Data Science, Image Processing, Advanced Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis & Ethical Hacking. He published 11 research papers in various International Journals (Scopus) and Conference proceedings and filed 3 patents. He participated and presented research papers in International and National Conferences. He attended and conducted various workshops / FDPs / Seminars / Refresher Courses. He guided 38 B.Tech and 14 M.Tech projects. He is having Administrative exposure as Project Coordinator, BOS Chairman, Controller of Examinations and Head Of the Department for CSE, IT, AI&ML, CSM, AI&DS in reputed organizations.
